HNC Moving Image

During my initial year of the HND Photography (HNC) , I had the opportunity to create a moving image project. The brief was open-ended, with the only requirement being the use of multiple camera angles in the final piece.

I chose to film a local model railway enthusiast’s setup known as Dechmond Circular. A special thanks goes out to Colin Rose for granting me permission to capture his impressive layout.

The filming was done using my Nikon Z6 and GoPro Hero 5 Session cameras. This project marked my first serious attempt at editing, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out. The process of stitching together the different angles to create a dynamic and engaging moving image was both challenging and rewarding.
